Former Bristol resident, John Walter Kieron, 70, of Tiverton, died Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012, at Rhode Island Hospital from injuries sustained from a hit-and-run accident that occurred Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2011 in Tiverton.
Mr. Kieron was born February 15, 1941, to Walter and Frances (Tkacz) Kieron of Warren. A graduate of Warren High School and Roger Williams University, he worked until his retirement at Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics in Bristol.
An avid animal lover, he enjoyed caring for three dogs and spending his days playing with his granddaughter.
He is survived by the mother of his two children, Janice Myslivy Kieron of Bristol; daughters Tanya Kieron of Bristol and Wendy Kieron-Sanchez of Tiverton; granddaughter Isabelle Sanchez of Tiverton; brother Thomas Kieron, his wife, Ruth Ann, and their children Stacie and Michael of Riverside; cousins Matthew and Rochelle Kieron of Portsmouth, and their children Ann Turley, Stephanie Fowler, and Matthew Kieron Jr.
