Norma Pietras, née Pacheco, 72, of Chicago, Ill., has passed away.
The daughter of Louis and Mary Pacheco, she was raised in Bristol. She was a 1958 graduate of Colt Memorial High School.
She was the devoted companion of 22 years to Jack Retterer; loving mother of Steven (Helen), Raymond “Greg” (Trish), and Michael (Karen) Pietras, Linda (John) Welsh, Nancy (Saeed) Rad, and the late Jeffrey Pietras; cherished grandmother of Jonathan, Jason (Brandi), Steven, Dylan, Courtney, Alexander, Nicole (Matt), Taylor, Nathan, Kailey, Cassidy, Nicole, Ryan, Lauren, Morgan, Mackenzie, Cina and Nima; great-grandmother of four; dear sister of Lori Magee and Janet (Ed) Frank; fond aunt, cousin and friend of many.
The funeral will be held Thursday, Feb. 16 from the Schmaedeke Funeral Home, Worth, Ill., with a Mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Palos Hills, Ill. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, Ill.
