Instead of telling you what news to receive in a weekly or daily newsletter/alert, we give you the tools to create your own specific news alert. Choose the categories you want to see, or your favorite write or favorite topic. See the steps below to set up your search alerts.
1) Go to your profile and click search alerts. 2) Click the "Create Search Alert" button 3) Enter a search topic in the "Query" field. An example would be sports or Josh Bickford. 4) Select how you would like to receive it. Could be email, text, etc. 5) Check the types of content to receive. Select stories or obits as an example. 6) Click create.
Attached is an example search alert set to receive any news about Bristol.
